1. Service Agreement

By requesting emergency mechanical or residential plumbing services from NY Plumbing in Gravesend, Brooklyn, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. All on-site diagnostic assessments and repair authorizations are confirmed verbally or in writing prior to commencing major mechanical work.

2. On-Site Evaluations & Diagnostics

Plumbing and heating systems involve hidden piping, complex electrical controls, and municipal utility connections. Our technicians perform physical examinations to diagnose mechanical faults accurately. If additional concealed defects are discovered (such as rotted subflooring, fractured sewer laterals, or corroded electrical wiring), the technician will explain the findings and provide options before proceeding.

3. Code Compliance & NYC Regulations

All plumbing, gas piping, boiler, and drainage repairs are performed in compliance with the New York City Building Code, NYC Fuel Gas Code, and Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) regulations. Required municipal permits, DOB filings, and utility sign-offs will be detailed in your service scope.

4. Warranties & Workmanship

NY Plumbing warrants its repair craftsmanship for a standard period following completion. Manufacturer warranties for equipment (such as boilers, water heaters, and sump pumps) are provided directly by their respective manufacturers.

5. Limitation of Liability

NY Plumbing is not liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from pre-existing structural decay, unpermitted prior third-party work, municipal water main pressure surges, or severe weather acts of God.
